We believe water baptism is significant in every person's faith journey as it symbolizes leaving the old way of living and rising up BRAND NEW! After you have surrendered your life to follow Jesus, the Bible tells us to be baptized in water – like Jesus Himself did – as a public declaration of your decision to turn away from sin and follow Him. Here’s how it works:
Nikki’s Story
Early on, I believed I had everything all figured out. I spent the better part of my days running from my bad decisions and chasing the lies I told myself. I lived in an endless whirlwind of drugs, alcohol, anxiety, and unhealthy relationships.
What Jesus did and does for me is everything! He took me broken, fragile, and hopeless, struck a match within my heart, and set me on fire! I’ve never felt more connected, loved, understood, peaceful or complete in my life. Baptism was a "no-brainer." Anything to be closer to Him. Hands down, the best decision of my life.
The pursuit of our Heavenly Father is such a gift. He has been so intentional. Jesus guided me throughout my entire experience from choosing a church to call home, mentors being placed in my life, Bible studies, Growth Classes, to forever friendships in my LIFEgroups. I have felt chains break. I realize all things are possible through Christ!
