We're excited to offer the opportunity to study the Bible in a brand new way! The Immerse study offers a restored format, fresh conversations, and the opportunity for an authentic journey together through God’s Word.

The Immerse Bible Experience Session 2 - “BEGINNINGS”

How Does it Work?

A Bible Made for Reading - The Reading Bible is a unique six-volume Bible. The text is laid out in a beautiful single-column setting with chapters, verses, section headings, and footnotes removed, and with the content of each book displayed according to its literary genre. Bridgewood will use this unique reading Bible to read through large portions of the Bible 5 days a week - 8 weeks at a time. This isn’t meant to be a one-time experience. Rather, Immerse enables us to follow a regular community Bible reading rhythm. By reading together three times a year, we can read through all six volumes—the entire Bible—in two years.

You can join an Immerse LIFEgroup - Twice a month, we will engage in simple “book club” style conversations.  Being part of an Immerse LIFEgroup will help you grow & understand the Bible like never before.

Daily Christian Podcast - Take your daily reading a step further by listening to a daily 4-5 minute podcast about the day’s reading. This is an incredible way for you to help God’s Word become practical in your every day life.

Where will we read?

Beginnings - Genesis—Deuteronomy. Immerse: Beginnings is the second of six volumes for use in Immerse: The Bible Reading Experience. Beginningstakes the reader on a new and unique journey through the first five books of the Bible: the Pentateuch. In Beginnings, readers follow the ancient nation of Israel from its earliest ancestors to the moment it is poised to enter the land God promised them. As God’s covenant community follows the instructions laid out in the Pentateuch, they not only receive God’s blessings but also are uniquely positioned to bring renewal and healing to the world and to show all peoples the true character and nature of God.
