Starting Point

Everything has a starting point—your life, your relationships, your education, your career. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point as well.

Welcome to Starting Point – an 8-week foundational class where you will have the opportunity to explore the meaning of being a follower of Jesus Christ in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re new to faith, curious about God, or coming back to church after some time away, it’s a place where your opinions and beliefs are valued, no question is off limits, and where you will learn the foundational things you desire to know about God and what a relationship with Him looks like practically in your life.

Roots Growth Series

ROOTS GROWTH SERIES: Grow deep.  Live free.

There’s a tension in life between where we are and where we want to be.  We all know what it’s like to long for something different, something better, something more.  This 3-class growth series takes an honest look at the fight going on inside, leading us to the God who desires to root us in truth and help us live free as we were designed to be.

Roots 101: Who You Were

Roots 102: Who You Are

Roots 103: Who You Are Becoming

ROOTS 101:  WHO YOU WERE (Beginning February 6th)

Roots 101 is the class where we dive into the topic of “Who You Were,” which of course, turns our attention to your story…your past. Often, the events/sins/wounds that we have experienced anchor us to the past in a negative way and prevent God from working in our present and future. Roots 101 will take you on a journey that will cautiously and graciously peer back into your story and find those areas where certain negative experiences need to be exchanged for a God experience or perspective. If your past is affecting your present and future, Roots 101 is for you. There is a $32 book fee for this particular growth class.

Growth Classes run in the Fall, Winter, & Spring Semesters.

Why I Believe

As Christ-followers we have a message and good objective evidence for the hope that we have in Christ, which needs to be communicated in a clear and concise manner. There are strong answers for the questions posed by atheists, skeptics, and agnostics.

This eight-week course will introduce you to the basics of apologetics, the ideas championed by secular culture, along with effective tactics for refuting those ideas in order to make the case for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
